Why Do We Have A Marathon?
 
 
The Marathon raises money for the Kansas Junior Golf Scholarship.  Every Spring, the Kansas Golf Foundation awards 5 scholarships to Kansas junior golfers  (boys and girls) who are financially deserving, good students and solid community participants.  Recipients must attend Kansas colleges or universities and the grants are renewable for 4 years.
 
Since it began in 2005, the Junior Golf Scholarships have been awarded to 25 junior golfers, and 5 more will be awarded in May, 2010.   Below are some of our current Scholars.
